A bundled action is a list of actions bundled together which can be sent to devices either during enrollment, or after enrollment. You can add as many different actions as you like in one bundle.
>> To create a bundled action:
- Go to Configuration > Bundled Actions
- Click on Create and give your bundled action a name
- Add as many actions as you'd like, while specifying the action type
WizyEMM supports the following action types when creation a bundled action:
- Push File
- Path: the device path on which you want to push the file
- File name: the name of your file
- File URI: the link to your file URI (must be publicly available online) or choose to upload the file directly in the WizyEMM console
- Install Certificate
- File name: the name of your certificate file
- File URI: the link to your file URI (must be publicly available online) or choose to upload the file directly in the WizyEMM console
- Install APK
- File name: the name of your APK file (must end in .apk)
- File URI: the link to your APK file URI (must be publicly available online) or choose to upload the APK file directly in the WizyEMM console
Notes on the Install APK action:
- This action should only be used to sideload non-Google Play compatible apps to devices. The preferred method to install private applications to devices is through Application Management > Private Applications.
- For this action to work, there are a few extra steps needed, which are detailed in our Help Center article on how to push & manage sideloaded applications.
>> To launch a bundled action on a device or group of devices:
You can find the "Run Bundled Actions" command in the Actions drop-down menu in the Device List page of your WizyEMM console.
You can automatically launch a bundled action on a device during the enrollment process. To do this, you must link the bundled action to a WizyEMM profile.
In your WizyEMM profile:
- Go to the Enrollment tab
- Scroll down to see the Bundled Actions sub-menu
- Add your bundled action in the "Bundle to launch" drop-down menu
