Modified on Thu, 24 Jul at 5:27 PM

Some WizyEMM features depend on the Android version on your device. These features revolve around device enrollment, policies and remote actions.

Please find below the list of features whose compatibility depend on the Android version.

* Android GO does not support the creation of a work profile. Android GO devices must be fully managed.

Note on QR code enrollment for company-owned devices:

  • From Android 9 and above, you can embed a wifi in the QR code you are using for enrolling devices, from the QR code page of your WizyEMM console. This  streamlines the process for enrolling devices: simply scan the QR code when prompted during enrollment, and the device will connect to the pre-defined network.
  • For Android devices below Android 9, you must first connect to a wifi network before scanning the QR code. Only then will the device download the QR code reader, which will enable to read your QR code. This QR code reader is pre-installed on all Android 9+ devices.
