Password restrictions can be defined for your managed devices. These are the keyguard passwords that users need to enter because they can unlock a device.
In the Configuration tab of your profile, the different password quality policies are available:
- Unspecified: there is no requirements for the password
- Alphabetic: password must contain at least alphabetic (or other symbol) characters
- Alphanumeric: password must contain at least both numeric and alphabetic (or other symbol) characters
- Complex: password must contain at least a letter, a numerical digit and a special symbol, by default. With this password quality, passwords can be restricted to contain various sets of characters, like at least an uppercase letter, etc
- Numeric: password must contain at least numeric characters
- Numeric (Complex): password must contain at least numeric characters with no repeating (4444) or ordered (1234, 4321, 2468) sequences
- Something: the policy requires some kind of password or pattern, but doesn't care what it is
- Biometric (Weak)
